Alan Heller was an American designer and entrepreneur known for his innovative and functional furniture. He founded Heller Inc. in 1971, which quickly became known for its production of high-quality modern furniture.
Heller's designs emphasise simplicity, durability and user-friendliness, and have won numerous awards for their innovation and aesthetic appeal.
Collaborations with leading designers such as Mario Bellini, Frank Gehry and Massimo Vignelli have produced some of the most iconic furniture of the 20th century.
Heller's commitment to quality and innovative design made him a respected figure in the furniture industry. He died in 2021 at the age of 81.
